Non-horror games for Halloween

Not everybody likes horror games, but if they are like me they still want to play some Halloween-themed games in the month of October. So I digged up a few games which are great for halloween, without the scary part!

Costume Quest

Costume Quest is a Halloween adventure from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions. In this charming role-playing game, choose your hero and trick-or-treat through three beautiful environments full of Double Fine humor and story. Complete quests, build your party, and collect costumes along the way that allow you to transform into powerful champions and take down the evil Repugians. This heroic holiday tale will capture the imaginations of kids and kids-at-heart.
Continue the Costume Quest adventure with the Grubbins on Ice DLC pack, included free in the PC version! Face new enemies while collecting additional quests, costumes, battle stamps and creepy treat cards. Help the monsters overthrow Araxia to bring peace back to Repugia!

Luigi’s Mansion

Luigi’s Mansion (Japanese: ルイージマンション Hepburn: Ruīji Manshon, Luigi Mansion) is a 2001 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. The game was a launch title for the GameCube and is the first game in the Mario franchise to be released for the console, launched in Japan on September 14, 2001, in North America on November 18, 2001, and in Europe on May 3, 2002. It is the second title in the franchise in which Luigi is the main character, instead of Mario, with players controlling him as he explores a haunted mansion, searching for Mario and dealing with ghosts that lie within its rooms by capturing them through a special device supplied by Professor E. Gadd.

Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask[a] is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It was released in 2000 as the sixth main installment in The Legend of Zelda series, and was the second using 3D graphics, following The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Majora’s Mask is set in Termina, an alternate reality to Hyrule, where the Skull Kid has stolen Majora’s Mask, a powerful ancient artifact. Under its influence, the Skull Kid causes the moon to slowly fall towards Termina, where it will crash after three days. The protagonist Link repeatedly travels back in time to the beginning of the three days to stop the moon from destroying the world.
